Temporary closure The museum may be temporarily closed when a hurricane warning is issued due to an approaching typhoon, etc. or when the safety of visitors or the management of the museum is deemed to be at risk.
The temporary closure will be determined depending on the situation. Please contact us before your visit if you have any questions.

For those coming by public transport

Take Linimo (Tobu Kyuryo Line) and get off at Nagakute Kosenjo Station, and walk 3 minutes northwest. Or take Meitetsu bus and get off at Nagakute Kosenjo Bus Stop, and walk 3 minutes northwest.

Drive 2.5 km east from Tomei Expressway Nagoya IC and turn north at the Kosenjo Minami intersection.
Drive 1.1 km west from Nagoya Seto Road Nagakute IC and turn north at the Kosenjo Minami intersection.

We strive to ensure that everyone can enjoy the museum safely and securely.
Please take your time and enjoy your visit.

  • For a visitor using a wheelchair, etc., one disabled parking space is available on the east side on the first basement floor.
  • Rental wheelchairs are available free of charge. Quantities are limited.
  • A multipurpose restroom (with a sink for ostomate and a diaper-changing table) and a nursing room are available.
  • 補助犬(盲導犬・介助犬・聴導犬)を伴ってご入館いただけます。 Assistance dogs (guide dogs, service dogs or hearing dogs) are welcomed in the museum.
  • If you feel sick, please notify a staff member nearby.
  • AEDs are installed.

  • Please do not touch the exhibits and the showcases. (Except for the experimentation corner)
  • If you are scheduling a group tour, please contact us in advance.
  • For re-entry to the exhibition room, please present your ticket at the reception desk on the first basement floor.
  • To respect other visitors, please do not run inside the museum.
  • Please refrain from eating or drinking on the first basement floor.
  • Only drinks with lids are allowed on the first basement floor.
  • Smoking is prohibited within the premises.
  • Please refrain from taking photos or recording in no-photography areas such as the theater room.
  • Please refrain from using flash or tripods when taking photos.
  • Please refrain from having loud conversations or making phone calls. Please view the exhibits quietly so as not to disturb other visitors.
  • Bringing dangerous items or flammable materials into the museum is strictly prohibited.
  • Please leave your umbrella in an umbrella stand and your belongings in a coin-operated locker.
  • No pets are allowed to enter the museum, with exceptions for assistance dogs.
